The following is a list of organizations that are supported by First Presbyterian Church with a brief description of each. All of these organizations serve God's people who are living in the city of Columbia or Maury County. Clicking on many of the organizations listed will take you to that organization's website where you can find out more information.

Boys and Girls Club : offers after school care to school age children
Columbia Cares : free testing and support for HIV/AIDS positive people
Columbia Counseling Ministries: professional counseling on a sliding scale
Family Center : child abuse prevention and emergency assistance
Harvest Share : food pantry that serves Maury County
Center for Hope : domestic violence shelter
Maury Chaplain Ministries: jail and prison chaplaincy
Maury County Senior Center: activities and services for senior citizens
Meals on Wheels : free meal delivery
People’s Table: free meals twice a week
Place of Hope : emergency shelter and drug and alcohol abuse recovery
Pregnancy Center of Middle Tennessee: support for young pregnant women

Maury County Students in Transition:  provides short-term emergency assistance for transitional/homeless students in the Maury County School system

Young Life :Young Life is a mission devoted to introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Room in the Inn:  Room in the inn offers shelter and support to Maury County Residents experiencing homelessness

MUMS:  Maury United Ministries Transportation has been helping needy Maury Countians without transportation get where they need

Pay Grace Forward:  is a Christian response to predatory lending by payday loan and title loan companies who prey on people in financial need

CASA:    Our mission is to support children at risk of or being placed in the foster care system by providing them with a court-appointed volunteer advocate who champions for their best interest until the child is in a safe, permanent home.
