First Presbyterian Church
is a congregation of approximately 500 members, a church of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). As a Presbyterian Church, we believe that the same God who created the universe is the one who loves each one of us in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the cross to free us from our sins, and who rose from the dead so that the power of death is broken forever. Lenten Noontime Recitals

The First Presbyterian Lenten Noontime recitals will begin on Ash Wednesday, February 17 at 12:15 and continue on the five consecutive Wednesdays up to Holy Week. Each thirty minute recital is preceded by a scripture reading and prayer followed by a performance featuring area musicians. A light lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall at the conclusion of each recital.
