First Presbyterian Church - Columbia, Tennessee

First Presbyterian Church
is a congregation of approximately 500 members, a church of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). As a Presbyterian Church, we believe that the same God who created the universe is the one who loves each one of us in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the cross to free us from our sins, and who rose from the dead so that the power of death is broken forever. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the power of God that guides us and renews our lives each day.Click HERE to read more.

Grateful for the mercy of God,
First Presbyterian Church seeks:

• To proclaim the gospel of Christ by word
and deed;
• To be led by the Holy Spirit to new ways
of living, while respecting the church's traditions;
• To be a caring and spiritual congregation where fellowship is extended, and where we encourage one another through Christian education, spiritual growth, and mutual care.
